Tony Regan

Partner & Group Chief Executive Officer - Australia & New Zealand

Tony is the CEO of PPG Events Australia and New Zealand, a well-established, trusted and reliable PCO and Event management agency. Over our almost 12 years operating, we have consistently worked with numerous New Zealand’s and Australia’s most respected blue-chip brands. PPG Events Australia have a long history of successfully solving complex problems for our clients, exhibited through our innovative ideas and solutions, which in turn adds a creative flair to enhance the outcomes for our client.

Such solutions are crafted by our powerful ability to understand our clients’ specific needs and challenges, particularly around creating, planning and delivering world-class events.
These include the creation and management of client programs for Global Sporting events including Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Rugby World Cup and Cricket World Cup amongst others.
Tony previous roles include the role of Group Chief Operating Officer for Premier Events Group (PEG) from 2003 – 2010, whereby his focus was towards commercial, operational and financial responsibilities across all programs and for PEG as a whole. Tony established a strong presence for PEG, in particular with his involvement in global events, such as the Olympic Games, FIFA, Rugby World Cup and Commonwealth Games.

Dave Jamieson

Partner & Business Development Director – Australia

For the last 20 years David has been in business development in the health care sector with some of Australia’s & New Zealand’s largest companies with great success and a strong reputation as a brand builder. David is an avid sports fan and enjoys most football codes and sport in general, however he has a real passion for rugby union, cricket and snow sports. This passion led David to get involved with PPG Events Australia New Zealand when he organised 50 people from Australia to attend the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. From the success of the first tour David has organised tour groups to the 2015 and 2019 Rugby World Cups and now to the next World Cup in France late 2023, over 50% of those in his groups have toured with David for every world cup since. The overwhelming feedback from his clients is his tours are well organised, hassle-free experience and great value for money.

The success and popularity of events and tours David has organised has led to his current involvement as a Co-Founder & Business Development Director of PPG Events Australia. David’s vast experience in senior management roles in the past has given him a clear insight into the needs and requirements from large to small businesses as well as individuals with their budgets and return on investment with conferences, event activations, corporate hospitality, staff incentives, training and with sporting events travel.

Grant Black

Partner & Chief Operations Officer - Australia

Grant is the Chief Operations Officer of PPG Events Australia. He has had a long and distinguished career in Consumer, Prescription and Device Healthcare along with the Automotive industry. His experience spans across sales, business development, marketing and general divisional management.

From the client side he has had to manage budgets for both large and small events, conferencing, brand activations, corporate hospitality and in franchisee/employee incentive space. Knowing full well the needs of a client needing and desiring quality and innovative deliverables, while maximising the return on investment within the allocated budget.

Grant shares David’s passion for major sporting events with a particular interest in all football codes, motorsport, cricket and sailing. He likes taking the sporting event and building amazing experiences around the event for our clients, creating lifelong memories for them.

Mel Braid

Director of Corporate and Events Business

Mel Braid has extensive experience in the sales and events industry across both the corporate and government sectors since the early 1990’s. Mel originates from regional NSW and has worked extensively in the capital cities of Canberra, Sydney & Melbourne.

Prior to COVID19 Mel owned her own successful events business in Canberra,  ELM by Mel.

Mel’s vision is to take the headache out of coordinating what your business needs – leading and managing events from workshops, conferences, corporate hospitality, sporting events, product launches to gala dinners and major festivals and anything in between. Mel also has a wealth of experience in sourcing venues, accommodation and sponsorship, planning marketing strategies, budgets, sales representation that makes an impact on your business.
